Eligibility Criteria for KYOTO University ADB Scholarship 2026

Applicants must meet all of the following conditions:

• Be a national of an ADB member country
• Not hold dual citizenship of any developed country
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree by the time of admission
• Have at least two (2) years of full-time professional work experience
• Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application
• Be in good physical and mental health
• Gain admission to an approved Master’s program at Kyoto University
• Commit to returning to their home country and working there for at least two (2) years after completing their studies

Applications must be submitted through Kyoto University, not directly to ADB.
